It works in a simple following manner.
If you are a cable or DSL Internet user, we provide you with an IP camera and
help you install it in your desirable location.
Then you register the camera onto our website, after which you get entitled to
a private user account with your own secret password. This is the account where
your camera uploads the video of anything moving across it. Your online account
comes with a 1GB hard disk space in which your recordings are stored, no
recording devices required.
The account is completely secure and inaccessible by anyone else other than
yourself or whom you may allow access to.
If you wish to watch live video of what’s happening at home or office, just log
on to your account from any PC and enjoy the facility. If you have a GPRS
enabled phone, it too will enable to log into your account and watch a still
image or live video coming straight from the camera.
In case you wish to see things that happened a few minutes or days ago, just
logon, specify the date and time and download up to 10 MB of recordings a day.
As an add-on feature you can also specify timings at which you wish your
account to monitor the camera for motion detection. For instance, your office
closes at 5 pm and opens at 9 am. Simply specify these timings onto the online
account and let Grand Guard servers scan your cameras for motion. During this
period of monitoring, any movement before the camera will trigger our servers
to send you alerts via SMS MMS and/or voice messages on to your phones.
If you leave the house or office and have forgotten to activate the monitoring
then you don’t have to drive back. You also have the option to activate
monitoring through your mobile and land line phones.
With EZ home connections for home users and BZ BOSS connections for small and
medium sized businesses, you will get a better grip on your premises. These
connections can be installed at places where there are no computers. All you
need is a Cable or DSL Internet connection.
